Modern Mantra is an astonishing series of typography artwork by Swedish artist Thomas Broomé.
Not normally working as a typographer, Thomas uses type to illustrate the things that he is drawing. These drawings are composed of words that are describing what they are. All pieces are ink on paper.

Jacob Dahlgren is a Swedish painter, sculptor, and conceptual artist. He tends to work with unconventional materials, and finds his inspiration in everyday objects.
I would love to see some of his work in real life.

Two beautiful chairs from Swedish designer Johan Lindstén. They are from his new project Idyll Concept.
Love how he has combined classic cross stitch with modern design.

‘See Through’ is a series of twelve photographs. In which swedish artist Helga Steppan colected all her personal belongings and divided them into a full spectrum of colour groupings.
Isn’t that cool? Kind of makes me want to hurry home and do it myself.

Linnea Strid is a Swedish artist from Uppsala. Her work is extremely realistic and I am espicially stunned by these water-themed paintings.

I’m just listening to Fever Ray‘s new album ‘If I Had A Heart’ and it’s such an amazing album that I almost peed my pants!
Fever Ray is one half of the spectacular and original Swedish electronic duet The Knife.

You absolutely must also watch the video for the first album single by the same name ‘If I Had A Heart’. I looooove it!
The darkness and the subtle effects matches the mood of the album to perfection. And most importantly – it is none other than my very own sister Sofie Friis Borup, who has done all effects and color grading.
Click here if you have trouble seeing the video.
