It’s not my usual thing posting music videos like this new, almost 10 minutes long, music video from Lady Gaga.
But in this particular case, I have a very good reason indeed; My own sister Sofie Friis Borup has worked as a Flame Artist and done some of the visual effects on the video. You should check out her portfolio sofieborup.com (she has also done music videos for Madonna, Fever Ray, Kanye West and others).
The video features Beyoncé and is very old school comic. As always Lady Gaga wears some costumes that are simply out of this world. Definitely worth a watch!
I’m madly in love with the dark and mysterious universe of the swedish electro-artist Fever Ray. At the moment I just can’t seem to get enough of her.
And now she’s has just releashed a new video for her cover of Nick Cave’s ‘Stranger Than Kindness’. The video is directed by Andreas Nilsson and as usual the look and feel of the video is so so dark og almost terrifying.
If you have missed some of her previous videos, you MUST see at least these two: ‘When I Grow Up‘ And ‘If I Had A Heart‘. I especially have a little gold star in my heart for the last video, as it is my ever lovely sister Sofie Friis Borup, who has done the visual effects on this video. Isn’t it beautiful?
After the successful retro-porn commercial for Diesel XXX, director Keith Schofield has now made this great and original music video for Lenny Kravitz’s song “Let Love Rule” remixed by Justice.
I’m telling you … watch it! It will make you smile.
