IKEA | Homemade is Best

Swedish photographer Carl Kleiner wash hired by IKEA to shoot recepies for their new cookbook Homemade is Best.

The final work is simply breathtakingly good. Imagine the hours spent placing perfect tablespoons of baking powder and milk in symetric shapes. This is truly food art and I want that book!

  4. Les photos sont superbes, la démarche est vraiment originale. C’est vrai que les ustensiles IKEA ne sont pas chers. Outre cette première qualité, ils sont également solide et de bonne facture. Mon premier moule à fond amovible avec charnière était un moule IKEA, ce fut le début d’une très longue histoire d’amour avec les cheesecake. J’ai acheté il y a peu un moule en silicone avec charnière mais j’aime beaucoup moins. J’espère que l’on pourra trouver très vite quelque part ce livre en français ou en anglais ! En tout cas faites moi signe. Le petit livre bleu de recettes suédoises by IKEA est un classique sur mes étagères !

  5. Tip: I got the beautiful cookbook – for free! – by showing up in IKEA Malmø, Sweden, in the kitchen department. I didn’t even have to pretend I was going to buy a new kitchen. It was enough to praise the book… :-)
