Brilliant packaging idea for such an ordinary thing as spaghetti. It’s designed by Alex Creamer, a student at the University of Central Lancashire in the UK.

Take a look at these mind boggling 3D sculptures by korean scupltor Gwon Osang. They may look like they are made out of ceramics, but actually they are made out of many photographs of the original subjects.

How freaking amazing is this?! British artist Stephen Wiltshire is at present time attempting to draw the manhattan skyline from memory. He began this monday october 26th and the drawing is expected to be complete by friday. You can follow his progress through live webcam here.
Stephen Wiltshire was diagnosed with autism at the age of three and he has an unusually powerful photographic memory. He can look at the subject of his drawing once and reproduce it accurately with photographic detail, down to the exact number of columns or windows on a building.

This commercial for beate-uhse.tv is made so delicately, that you almost can’t belive it’s for an erotic tv-channel. And yes, they pay-off is true. Watch it!
Made by kempertrautmann, Hamburg, Germany.

This installation is so amazing that my eyes almost can’t crasp it! It’s called ‘Cercle et suite d’éclats’ and it was made last summer by Felice Varini in Vercorin, Switzerland.

Woaw! These oil paintings by Monica Wood definitely made me look. They kind of give me nausea, but I still can’t take my eyes off them. Look at the paint job, so well done.

So you might not believe it, but these sculptures are made out of … marble! And I mean ONLY marble! Isn’t that just insane? The man behind the fantastic sculptures is Italian sculptur Fabio Viale.

This is so cool! Real Life Tetris animation by Sergej Hein. It really made me smile.

I’m deeply fascinated by these super cool mirror installations by Francisco Infante-Arana & his wife Nonna Gorunova. Be sure to check out more of their work here.

I’m madly in love with the dark and mysterious universe of the swedish electro-artist Fever Ray. At the moment I just can’t seem to get enough of her.
And now she’s has just releashed a new video for her cover of Nick Cave’s ‘Stranger Than Kindness’. The video is directed by Andreas Nilsson and as usual the look and feel of the video is so so dark og almost terrifying.

If you have missed some of her previous videos, you MUST see at least these two: ‘When I Grow Up‘ And ‘If I Had A Heart‘. I especially have a little gold star in my heart for the last video, as it is my ever lovely sister Sofie Friis Borup, who has done the visual effects on this video. Isn’t it beautiful?

Hahaha … how funny is this packaging design for Rellana Wool? And why haven’t anybody thought of this before? The only ‘but’ could be, that I don’t think men are the primary target for this kind of product. But hey, it made me look!
Designed by Ogilvy & Mather, Frankfurt.

For the first time ABSOLUT dares to face the world completely naked. This october ABSOLUT will launch a limited edition bottle with no label and no logo, to manifest the idea, that no matter what’s on the outside, it’s the inside that really matters.
Beautiful!

I really enjoy the work of Adam Dedman, who is currently studying graphic design at the University College Falmouth in the UK. His portfolio is definitely worth checking out.
